The album opens in Rio de Janeiro, the natural gateway to the narrative. The first tracks evoke the softness of bossa nova along the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, before unfolding into the vibrant energy of Carnival, the urban pulse of funk carioca, and the poetic warmth of Música Popular Brasileira at sunset. Rio appears as both luminous and emotional — a city of celebration, intimacy, and memory — and returns at the end of the album for a joyful New Year's Eve celebration on Copacabana beach, forming a radiant conclusion.
The journey then moves inward to the heart of the country, with two tracks dedicated to the Amazon rainforest. Here, sound stretches and breathes, inspired by indigenous music, ritual percussion, flutes, and the living rhythm of the forest itself. This chapter offers a mystical and introspective pause — a deep inhalation between urban landscapes.
From there, the album reaches Salvador de Bahia, cradle of Afro-Brazilian culture. Influenced by Candomblé and Axé, these tracks balance spirituality and festivity, where sacred rhythms meet joyful movement. Bahia embodies ritual night, trance, and the rising energy of collective celebration.
The journey continues south into the Southeast, stopping in Paraty, whose colonial streets inspire a nostalgic and instrumental atmosphere rooted in choro traditions. Further inland, Serra Verde explores a more rural and pastoral Brazil, shaped by música caipira, evoking green mountains, open landscapes, and a slower sense of time.
The album reaches its most powerful moment at the Iguaçu Falls, where music becomes dense and rhythmic. Inspired by samba-reggae, this track translates the raw, overwhelming force of nature into percussive energy and cinematic intensity.
Finally, the journey opens onto the vast horizon of the Northeast, in Jericoacoara. Influences from forró and baião are slowed and reshaped to evoke sand dunes, wind, sunsets, and a hypnotic sense of freedom.
